Ok, probably a stupid question but obviously one I don't know and can't find anything on Google.

I found a very tiny tentacle from my RBTA sitting on a rock. I pulled it because at first i had no idea what it was until I got it under a magnifying glass. It has been in a dish all day and it is still wiggling/moving. Getting bigger/smaller.
Will it turn into another anemone? Or is like cutting the head off a snake and the body keeps moving for awhile?

The zooxanthelle are still alive but that’s about it. I don’t know why anemones sometime do this but you can discard the tentacle it won’t grow into another anemone. You can feed it to a bleached anemone to regain some
Zooxanthelle however

No, I don't think it will still grow. At least it never has for me!
I have seen fish take off a tenticle and you will see it still "alive" for a little while in the tank.
