Brown dots on coral

So got this coral in the mail and the polyps were extended. Slowly over the last week it has gone completely white and has these brown rings where the polyps were. Is this a goner or is it from shipping stress and just wait it out? It is a fairly new tank. Under 3 months.

How does everything else look in your tank
Parameters?
Flow and lighting?
Did you dip/qt the coral?
Anything that you have seen that could be bothering it?

I have another birdsnest doing the same thing…I was gone for a few days when it happened…came back and I have been fighting cyano…new tank problems…but flow is just the stock sicce that comes with hello reef…other corals look ok…besides the two birdsnest…lighting is the blade grow and is on acclimation mode…and the coral came with instructions and a dip package that I followed before all of them went it…and all I have are two clowns and a turbo snail that haven’t been around it…last test I did for parameters were

Cal 420
Alk-8.7-8.9
Magnesium 1350
Nitrate 0
Phos-NA don’t have a test for it yet

Pictures too blue to tell but need bright white lighting to clearly see and to assure not flatworms

Can you please turn the blue's off and leave only white lights on for a photo, its very hard to see through all the blue. Thanks

that coral is bleached and might die those brown dots are its polyps...

The brown dots are the polyps that are very receded, it is slowly on its way out IMO. It needs good strong lighting and strong flow, seeing it on the sandbed makes me think its not getting what it needs. Nitrate at zero in a young tank is not ideal IMO. sps corals are the top of the difficulty ladder, I would say this is a sign the tank (and perhaps the hobbyist?) may not be ready for sps yet.

I appreciate it…I just put them in the sand bed to start with because it’s only been in the tank for a week and normally all my corals start in the sand bed for a little bit before I start moving them up especially after being shipped. I’ll move it up higher today and see if it changes anything…my other SPS are doing ok it’s jus this birdsnest and another
