Is this Brown Jelly on my Goniopora? Or something else? In my tank no more than 2-weeks. This was spreading over the top of my Goni until only a few polyps were showing. I took it out of my tank. No other corals affected yet. Anything I should do to my water to keep it from spreading. Also could this have been brought into my tank from the new Goni? Any direction appreciated. See attached pictures.

Definitely looks like BJD, to be sure, take it out and smell it, if it smells like rotten flesh/ decaying matter or anything awful than it Definitely is, don't know if I remember the exact steps to take but I think it's freshwater dip then iodine dip. @encrustingacro any thoughts?

Oh, and make sure to not let any of the BJD to fall off into the water column, if it lands on other corals than they could potentially get infected
