Brown Jelly Prevention

I've had many euphelia before and every single one has gotten back jelly disease. I use RODI water, water change onece a week, Cal, alk, and mag and stable. However when I kept them, I hadnt started testing yet. Maybe that's a reason... What causes this disease and how do I prevent it?

Injury primarily, also infection caused by settling detritus.
