So my monti is/was turning brown. I learned that the phosphates were outrageously high (.82). I wasn't having an algae issue in the display, Probly because I run a large fuge, and a big algae scrubber. Well corrected that issue. (Yes, I took all the advice from here, adjusted feeding amount, rinsed food, fed slower so more is consumed, and chased it down with a reactor) phosphates are now .06. My question is, how long until my monti is back to normal? It's not all brown so hopefully it's not mortally poisoned.

Have you changed your lighting at all?
Also true elevated nutrients will brown out
