BRS CO2 Scrubber to Nyos 160 skimmer

I'm trying to find the right tubing to attach a Nyos 160 skimmer (http://www.nyos.info/en/produkte/products.php?prid=quantum160) to the CO2 Scrubber (http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-universal-co2-scrubber.html). The tube that came with the scrubber almost fits into the silicon tubing that came with the skimmer.

I have the same skimmer and I have a the scrubber as well. I had to change my outlet piece on the reactor part. Mine had a 1/2 tube outlet so I went to lowes and got a fitting to fit 3/8 OD tubing with 1/4 ID which fit to the inlet of the skimmer line that fit into the 3/8 MIP part of the reactor

Where did you end up attaching the scrubber to the Nyos? I'm wondering if its better to run the tube to the top of the silencer, or disconnect the silencer and run the nyos air hose directly to the scrubber
