BRS Dual Reactor

Hey Everyone,

Thinking of getting the BRS Dual Reactor to run GFO and Carbon. Does anybody have experience with them? What pump are you running? They come with a maxi jet 1200 but in my experience they are noisy. May replace with an eheim. Let me here your thoughts on it all before I buy it. thanks.

I use the dual you mentioned i also use the 1200 pump. It is located in my sump so i never hear any noise from the pump. As long as you are able to control the water flow, think the unit comes with a ball valve, you should be fine. GFO needs a slow flow nothing more than a slight dancing of the top of the GFO or you will cause too much dust. So if you buy another pump don't go much higher than the 1200 or you will be wasting money. My ball valve is less than 1/2 way open.
