If anyone wants to combine orders to save on shipping let me know. I'll be purchasing roughly $100 in goodies so would just need an additional $75 to reach free shipping status.

Should be good to go on group buy.

I may be interested in joining your purchases, when are you ordering?

It's good to go. I just received an email about it! Thanks again for setting this up.

As far as ordering, I can be ready when you are. Was actually curious if you wanted to go in on some 5 gallon buckets of the 2 part dosing system additives... If not, just PM me what you would like me to order for ya and I'll throw it on my list and drop it off when it comes in!

Anyone else who wants to save on shipping just PM me what you want and we will get it figured out. Let's try to have the order placed by Friday at 12 noon????

Ok so I have decided that I am going to buy the 5 gallon quantities of the 2 Part BRS additives since the price is really good with out group buy. I will be willing to sell 1 gallon amounts of them at their respectable prices if anyone is interested in buying some from me down the road. I'm not looking to make a profit, just attempting to save us all a little cash.

Also, I am placing the order by 12 noon on Friday so if anyone wants in on free shipping than PM me a link and sku # of what items you would like me to purchase. So far it's just Chris and I and potentially Jay...

Sorry for the multiple replies to this thread. If we can get the order put together TODAY we can save an addition 10.31% I believe... I know it's short notice but let me know TODAY and I'll put the order together later this evening!

Yeah, sorry everyone but I pulled the trigger and ordered last night in an effort to save the additional 10.31% they were offering yesterday only! I did order the 5 gallon bucket of all 4 additives in the BRS 2-part dosing system so if anyone needs some just let me know and we can work out how to get it. Next time I won't be in such a hurry to order but that additional 10% was a deal hard to pass on.

All 4???

There should only be 3.

there is sodium carbonate and then sodium bi-carbonate. for ALK, one raises your ph, and one lowers it. Did you get both?

Really? so you have to mix the 2 together? I rarely dose Mag, I mixed up a gallon over a year ago, and have used it like 3 times. Seems my WC's keep the mag up. So I'm not really familiar with the mixes for Mag.

You are correct. It takes two different additives to make one magnesium blend or mixture. I add about 100mL of mag to my make up water for water changes and I add about 250mL of mag to the tank once a week. IO has fairly low levels of CAL and MAG so I dose in the bucket before adding it into the tank at water changes.

They say you need to add 20 ounces of it per gallon of cal/alk additives but I've found it to be slightly less in my tank.

It's weird because my MAG levels will be rock solid for a week or so and then all of sudden just start falling. Seems like once I get the Mag between 1300-1400 it stays there but once below 1300 it drops like a rock!
