Anyone got any experience or thoughts on this rock? Says its cured rock. Well that is debatable.
I got 44 pounds coming to go into my 57 g., question is do I need to "cure" it, they claim its already cured. I've got dry pukani from them that I can use, but I wanted something different for the rebuild.
So, ? is do I need to cure this or not?

I'd suggest both the Pukani and the Walt Smith 2.0 go into covered (no light) tubs for cleaning/curing. I've had some Fiji dry rock in a bin for over a month now, weekly 100% water changes. First two weeks were just RO water. After the first week I took it all out and gave it a good picking/scrubbing/rinsing to get everything loose off it. The water was FILTHY those first two weeks.
After the first week in saltwater I did another water change and added a big bag of carbon. What was filthy looking and smelling horrible those first few weeks is now nice and clean looking. And since in the dark, no algae has had a chance.
