Morning all,
Anyone have ideas on handles for DIY screen top lids? I recently put together the 2 piece BRS screen lids. It does the trick, but I find it difficult to remove them (feeding, cleaning, etc). Let me know what you all have on your DIY lids. Good Day...

Probably not a helpful answer but for my DIY lid instead of having it lay on the inside rim I added about 3/4 of an inch and the lid sits on top of the tank vs inside of it... this way it just slides easily off without having to scoop it up.

Yours looks good, but I like it on the inside rim.

A bit expensive but try searching on e.g. Amazon for "aquarium lid replacement handle".

I folded over a piece of clear packing tape to form a tap in the back middle of the screen; since the back 3" is eggcrate and not the screen top, I just have to lift an inch and slide back to get a little room (or remove completely for maintenance).

On my frag, I sliced 2 slim pieces of velcro and placed them on the front corners.
Easy to remove screen during feeding... I was happy with results.

It may not look the slickest, but I made a couple small "tabs" with 1/2" wide steps of black Gorilla tape (duct tape). I folded it over on itself leaving enough of the sticky side exposed to attach the bottom of the frame.
