Bta has weird string around foot?

Not sure what that string looking thing tied around my bta is.

Mine get that I just suck it off with a turkey baster

I got it off with tongs. Maybe it was algae but now the bta is opened up and happy again. That was weird

My rock anemones get this most often, it always looks like it's just mucous bunched up around the foot. It usually comes off easily glad it didn't give you any more trouble.
