Every night my BTA shrivels up then next morning after lights on it’s shows it’s tentacles again.
She ha been doing this for a week now.
Can anybody explain this behavior?

That’s normal for them to do that at night

I’m curious as well. I have one that does this every night and the one that hosts my clowns sometimes does but rarely.

Mine close up at night too. During they day they inflate to absorb light, at night they shrink. They are like 98% water so maybe they're just doing a water change, might be it's way to expel waste. Totally normal behavior.

Thank you.
Was amazed about the size difference between day and night.
Good to know its normal.
