BTA not moving closer to light?

I have a few BTA's in my tank. I let them lose on the sand and they've attached themselves to the lower base of the rocks and sand.

Some of them are stretching out for more light.. They have plenty of room to move upwards closer to the light.

Anything I can do to encourage them to move up?

Lighting is good for BTA's- my clams are in sandbed and happy too.

My bta settled in the sand in the last tank and never moved . It would reach, bubble, act like a good but never moved.
Since I put it this tank it does the same but is higher in the rock. It could go up but hasn't.
It exhibits the same behavior as before and will get huge and wide and reach but doesn't move.

Anemones are weird!

This one is mid way up and in a semi shaded area. It's allowing the clowns to host it.. and it's doing beautifully compared to the others.

Drives me nuts that one is amazing and the others are stretching! at least they aren't shrinking?

Show off.....
Just kidding. You can direct strong flow at it and it might move. The problem is you can't predict if it will move up or to the back.
It is a stunning BTA. I haven't seen one like that before.

PS - lower the light intensity. For a few hours and see if it will move up or stretch for light.

thanks :) The color isn't exact.. can't promise it matches photo exactly but it's close.

I also have a thumbnail sized one too. the one stretching isn't as pink.. then again, it lost some color since I brought it home a few weeks ago.

If it doesn't move on its own, I'll try to move a powerhead against it.
