BTA Removal Tips

Hey all,
So a little over a year ago I put 1 BTA in my reef tank and fast forward, Now I have 7. My maroons love them however, I need to get a few out to make room as they are stinging coral and taking up way too much space that could be used for other coral. I’ve tried putting flow directly on it and doesn’t work and I will not be dissembling my rock.
Any other tips or advice on how to get these nems to let go?

My favorite method is getting a pump and vinyl hose and direct the flow right at the foot. Takes about 5/10 minutes but they do let go.

what if the foot is in a crevice that the hose can't get too?
I've removed BTA with this method but not when their foot is deep in a crevice

You can try to make it dark where it is so it creeps toward the light/where you want it more

I use small pieces of pvc pipes over them and so they end up attaching to the pipe itself

nice, i never thought of that. They will gravitate to pvc pipes?

The will want to creep up to the tube and stretch to the light. It works for me. I have over 30 nems in my frag tank and they all behave the same.
