I got a nice bubble coral 3 weeks ago, looked great in store. I took it home, dipped and acclimated it.

It started to come out, slightly week and half ago (a week after I got it), then one of my fish decided to bury it in sand. I shook the sand out and placed it in a safer location on the sandbed.

I have not seen it attempt to come out at all. I see two or three little flesh but not bubbled up.

I don't remember params on top of my head as I am at work, but Nitrite was slightly elevated. Calcium is up at 450.

Any ideas what I can do for it?

Pictures would help. Also, what is your alkalinity and how do you maintain calcium and alk?
Check your nitrates and phosphates to see if they are elevated.
