Tried to take the best pics I can take. Any ideas? I’ve seen a couple references to this in old threads but no one has came up with an ID.

Hoping I can get one to plan a course of action (or non action).

I see a lot of coralline?
Painted rocks . It’s Liferock.

Picture of back wall is all brown .. used the orange filter lense to try and get more accurate pics, but pics are tough lol.

Here’s the area I’m referring to on the rock.

Here’s a better picture. I’m not sure if it’s Dinos - there’s no bubbles, it’s more like jelly like mini blobs that just disintegrate like diatoms do. It’s not uniform circular bubbles, it reminds me more of how bubble coral polyps look and even moves with the flow of water the same way.

It’s also not limited to rocks and sand - it’s all on the walls too if I don’t scrape it.

Awesome! Looked it up, first I considered it the pics I found didn’t look like it so I skipped on that ID but looking more in depth there are many pics that look exactly like it!

I see raising nutrients bests this easily. Any other tips? I actually already started dosing No3 3 days ago because it dipped below 1ppm - I’m trying to get it to 10ppm as my Po4 has been steady between 0.03 and 0.05ppm.

Nothing I've seen convincing evidence on for beating these guys.
But check out the threads where people talk about what they are doing.
