Bubble Magus QQ2 skimmer operation?

Hi, this is a video of my skimmer running. The instructions are vague so I don't know if its far enough in the water. Anyone have experience of a Bubble Magus QQ2?

I’m running the same skimmer also. How long have you had yours? I modified the mounting setup as I am not using the supplied hanger. Instead I am using a large mag float algae scraper (used in my previous 120 gallon) to mount it. With this setup I can lower it or raise it as low/high as possible. You are right with the instructions being vague. As my skimmer broke in, it took a lot of trial and error to find the level I was happy with. By this I mean where my skimmer was producing a good amount of skimmate and I was emptying it every few days. Hope this helps.

Hi there.
I do also have the QQ2, and I've been having a hard time understanding what the correct level is?
What level are you guys using? I'm using the as it came in the box with the mounting setup.
