We got our first bubble tip and enemy yesterday. Acclimated it and then placed it in the tank. It scooted over a little bit throughout the night. Went to check on it this morning and he was fully out I turned on the light and he retracted a a little bit do you guys think I should keep the lights off for the day to low stress or is this normal? Also, I’ve noticed my peppermint shrimp likes to stay near it so I don’t know if that’s an issue?

How new is the tank? My anemone took a couple of days to acclimate to my tank so I would just give it time

I'd just wait and keep your normal light schedule. These things kind of have a mind of their own and do what they want, including splitting uncontrollably.
