bubble tip question

hi everyone this seems like a dumb question to ask but I want to get it off my back so I don't need to worry bout the nem,basically wondering if they can get stuck my nem is pretty massive and it shrunk up into a small cave and has now been peaking out of 2 holes but hasn't moved for 2 days and isn't getting much light. I Know its normal for them to stroll and hide, just want some reassurance more or less thanks guys. here's a photo

I don't think they can "get stuck". I've seen mine get snagged on tiny vermetid snail casings, and recoil into rock until I could not see it at all, but never get "stuck".

The one in my office tank does this all the time. Nothing to worry about.

so came home and see this happening? is it splitting? doesn't look good kind of worried

so figured out there was a hole 1/4th of the way up my back wall and he got sucked into it..... super bummed it's a beautiful nem and he has a huge gash on the foot,heard they usually die from it am I **** out of luck?.. got to stick a sponge in there for the future..

edit: I don't really know what to do guys he's stuck somewhat in the hole still, can I pull him out gently I heard it's bad to do but I can't turn on the flow or he's gunna grt sucked in more, how long can a tank go without gas exchange I can use a power head from another tank but it's pretty powerful

You should leave him alone. They usually do what they want. If you mess with him it may just stress him out. They can't ever get stuck, unless he gets caught in ur power head. If that happens. Then get him out.

What do you mean hole? In overflow? If so, I would temporarily turn the overflow off, unplug and move your heater to main tank (plug back in after submerged) and if possible get a small powerhead or some flow to the inside of the overflow to get it to move out. If not possible to get flow in there then dont and leave the anemone alone. Let it move out. Once the anemone makes its way out, plug the hole, and restart your main pump.

It can recover. Just dont touch it or move it, preventing further stress. The anemone appears to be fairly healthy from the first picture, so you may have good chance for it to heal and make a come back. May split in the process.
