Budget build thread

Hi hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted post my build thread as my tank is a little different because it was a budget build. I purchased everything, second hand except the corals inside and the protein skinner pump. When I moved to my new home last year, I had the chance to create my dream tank but didn’t want to spend so much as I had to basically redo the entire house before moving in.
the tank is a 200 gallon in wall in my living room. I spent about 500 dollars on the tank stand and equipment and did they carpentry myself. Below are a few pics of the build process, the progression and how it looks now after a little over 1 year. Enjoy thx

When I saw “budget build” I was not ready for what came next! It’s very beautiful with the white stone acting as a blank canvas. Definitely a reef, and room, to be proud of.

Great build - your craftsmanship really shows through. The zoa gardens are gorgeous as well. Love the panther grouper... any plans for when he is bigger?
