Bug when writing in the reply box

As of about 3 days ago, i'm having a hard time hitting the delete button (backspace button) and the enter button on my android phone s8+.

It seems that anytime I need to erase a misspelled word or start a new paragraph it kicks me out of the keyboard and I have to select the reply box again to bring up the keyboard back up.

I restarted my phone, closed out the app, and it still persists.

It seems to only happen on this site and was working fine a few days ago. Was curious if anyone else was having this issue or if some internal changes were made to the site that made this problem happen?

I sent it to @revhtree , I haven't had any issues, but I use a Samsung S20+.

I've actually started experiences this too, on Android, in Chrome. I assumed it was my own issue, but perhaps not.

YES! I'm having this same issue! If you type a word and backspace on mobile the keyboard disappears and its only
on this site. But you have to press space after a word, if you're in the middle of a word or end of a word and haven't pressed space bar yet the keyboard stays but the second you press space and then backspace it dissapears

I can continue to type but the words don't show up. I have to hit the little down arrow and and hit the reply box for me to continue to type and see what im typing.

I would have expected to have seen a lot more explicatives in posts over the last few days based upon these reports. What a nice bunch of Reefer's are posting on here, always nice and helpful.

I thought it was my phones s7. I was typing and the wrong letters were getting pressed. I restarted my phone and it went back to normal. Using chrome.

I have a different kind of problem with the iPhone. If I reply to a message or my message gets longer than about 5 lines the screen starts jumping to the top and I have to scroll back down to see the reply or I can keep typing blindly. Everytime I complete a word and hit space the screen drops back down to normal. This is not the only forum this happens on so I assume its a bug in Safari.

Let me check on this as well.

Ok so for the Android Chrome issue I found out it's most likely due to the latest release of Chrome (85). Will have to wait for an update fix.
