Bugs on glass

Hi,

I was scraping my glass, and I noticed little bugs moving fast on the scrape. I tried to get a video of them with my microscope but couldn't identify them. Please help me identify them and advise if they are bad and how to get rid of them. Tank is three years old, and I am afraid they are red bugs that eat across.

looks like copepods. A good foundation for your tank

Hi Koty,

I have noticed and thought they are but the ones with a red shell or back doesn’t ensemble pods. It looks like a shell but I am not sure and I haven’t seen anything like that before.

Can you get a pic from the underside or of one out of water? im suspecting chitons or isopod seems more likely considering how they move
