I didnt go with an old school bm 160 ext or a c66 double pumper. I went counter current 2020 technology. Hopefully it works.
The impellar on the included pump when i peeked looked promising.

On my way home from picking up my new toy i stopped at mclendons to start my light hanger. I got a 24t hacksaw. The pipe bender and clamp holder downers. The pipe no. Not yet.
I will prime and paint the conduit. Not sure what color. Red? Lol

My water ppl! Great customer service and imo the top of the line filters as far as the actual filters and media goes. They know what theyre doing. Ive had two of their units over my reefing yrs. Im taking better care of this 1.

Ive added a small sicce water pump to this skimmer. I just installed the aquavitro division 500. Gonna miss my little cs6. Gave me a nostalga feeling of my old swc 150bmk.
The cs6 has a sicce pump too and is a great skimmer. This one better i think. Time will tell. Lets see what we get!
Gonna wait till morning to adjust. Rn its set low to build up a nice dry foam head.

My new protein skimmer is on the 26th hour. Idk. I dont think i wanna mess with it. I was gonna raise it up a little more but i think ill leave it.

I ended up raising my skimmer and getting new risers all the same. Shot of the pellet reactor well the socks get a wash machine bath with a lite sprinkle of oxy clean.
Im getting diatom. Ha and what is either more ha or cyano.

Need a new bender head piece. I broke this 1 trying to bend at the point where to pieces screw together and join. Oops.
Lol
I measured wider and accomadated but im gonna go get a new piece of conduit and a new head tomorrow morning maybe. Got primer and some satin black paint. We will see if i like it.

Back on track with the light hanger.
The new skimmer skims.kinda wet imo.
Its a tea more than a sludge.or.gunk.

Newest members. The ora.naked clown and the hawkfish. Both doing good and eating.
I even played with my shrimp last night opening and.closing.my mouth as he came.up. lol.
Cant stand this t8 old school fish tank light! Its.like.5700k. Lol.
