I have finally pulled the trigger on my Red Sea MAX S-500 LED build!

Prep work for the tank!

I installed a board on the wall in the basement for the RODI system with will have a shelf for the supplies:

Spot selected for the new tank:

Current plugs at location (shared 15A outlet, cable TV and phone - nothing of use, LOL!):

Upgraded facilities for the tank (added a dedicated 20A GFCI outlet, Ethernet for the APEX, and I ran the RODI line up from the system in the basement):

Tank Arrived! The pallet weighed 795 pounds!

I got my MarcoRocks and Neptune APEX & APEX modules!!!

Assembly Time!

Frame:

Used a Kubota tractor with forks to put the pallet through my front door, saved our backs BIG time!

Good grief the tank was heavy... But we got it on the stand.

Installed the trim:

Installed the sump and hooked up some of the plumbing:
