I am using Randy’s recipe #2 and using a Neptune DOS. If I don’t clean this off it will eventually lead to a clog. Even happens with the tip underwater. Is it the surface tension of the RO tubing? The sharp end cut of the tube? Wrong tube material?

Ok. So do you T-in one line into the otherI would not recommend having it under water as there will always be a dosing solution/tank water interface where precipitation of calcium carbonate takes place.
Best solution I have heard of is to combine ATO water and dosing water through a single drip tip. I do that for AFR and it works perfectly. Every ATO action flushes out the tip.
