Ok so this is probably stupid, but if i am building a small fuge (7.5 gallons +-) is it necessary to use weld-on, or will silicone do the job. Also, if i need weld-on do i have to order it or is it available at home depot?

well unfortunatly i had already built it using silicon, so i guess that makes me a noob... so should i disassemble the entire thing, scrape off the silicon and redo it all with weldon? Or do u think i could just apply it to the outside of the seams?

lol. i thought i answer that quick but apparently not quick enough for you to build one. haha.

I'm thinking you should start over... weldon over the seams won't do anything. What weldon does is it chemically bonds two pieces of plastic. Melting it and molding it together so essentially it's one peice.

Silicone in the way won't let it bond the two peices to make one.

I have heard of people using silicone on plastics and it holding. It's a risk, but this being as small as it is, might hold. Not too sure.
