Hi folks,

I am considering getting a bullet goby. However, as they do sand sifting, I'm curious if they have the same sort of running out of food long term survival issues that fish like the diamond goby do?

Thanks,

-Mike

In an adequately sized tank they do fine. Allow for 100g per sifter.

I've found this species to be very hardy and they readily accept aquarium foods. They do shift an awful lot of sand which can sometimes be a pain. We had several 8x2ft fish holding systems and a pair in each kept the entire bottom clean.
