It’s really sad that this has to be posted but I felt the need to warn fellow reef keepers. If you intend to purchase from this dude do your due diligence.
I used to shop with him a while back when he worked at reef lounge and he ended up saying he “lost” my order for a $400 wrasse.
I’m not sure what’s going on with all the rebranding and name changes but honestly it doesn’t matter. Where there is smoke there certainly is fire.

Hello,

Since these allegations are pretty strong, and maybe warranted, could you provide proof that this is the same person and proof that this is a scam?

Thank you.

Hi, this account follows the same pattern that all of the businesses Jason has worked for/ with and or "owned" have. They are all created and quickly follow and are followed by Jason(reef_jase) and his girlfriend Karen(nano_exotics) while instantly beginning to run facebook ads.
The photography is stylistically the same. The white balance, saturation, and overall look are the same. Moreover, the same images are used from the reef_jase account on the corals4u.us account.

This isn't something that Jason is trying to hide as his own account has direct links to the website. I wanted to bring this to people's attention because while those of us who have dealt with it before might be able to catch it, new users considering ordering from them might find this thread and think twice.

While it might not be a scam, and I'm sorry about the verbiage, every single company that Reef_Jase has been associated with in the recent but very relevant past has had the same or similar troubles. Most notably, excessive delays shipping paid for corals, excuses including but not limited to certain tanks crashing and corals dying, finding a "fall guy" to take the brunt of the blame(while somehow being the only common factor at hand between all companies), and finally customers are forced to file chargebacks and disputes with their financial institutions to get their money back(if possible at all).

I think its important for people to know what they're signing up for if they want to shop with a company that is associated with reef_jase especially if its a known issue.
