Buying a used tank pricing?

I have the opportunity to buy a 150 gallon glass tank. Seller states she bought the entire setup for $500 (stand top and bottom, lights, and fresh water filtration) but all I want is the tank because my husband will build a custom stand for it. She has told me to make her an offer on just the tank but I am not sure what a fair (to both of us) price would be. Any suggestions? I was thinking $100 to $150 for tank only.

It all depends on how bad she wants to get rid of it I would offer 75 dollars for the tank and then go up to 100 dollars.

How old is the tank? Are you going to need to reseal it?

Thanks everyone. It looks fairly new and it wouldn't need to be resealed. She wanted more for the tank than I was willing to pay. Thanks again.
