Get the non-roasted stuff. Just look at the ingredients list to make sure there are no additives and you are good to go. Keep in mind that nori doesn't have a lot of nutritional value for the fishies... but it does provide some roughage which the tangs need. Soaking in selcon though is best for them.

I'm not sure that is correct?
Nori has a higher proportion of protein to carbs. 44.4g to 36.6g per 100g, & sugars accounting for less than 0.1g.
I've fed it almost exclusively to my tangs for years & they're doing very well.:)

I remember romaine lettuce being the tang food with little to no nutritional value.. That’s was years ago though.
