C4R Innovative Marine Builds (40/25/20/15)

Hey all And Merry Christmas. Sold all my Waterbox tanks and went full Innovative Marine. Tanks are mostly setup the same so a lot of ecotech products, Neptune controllers with trident, Red Sea blue bucket salt.

Current Setups:

Innovative Marine 20 (Photo 1)
Start up - sometime in 2016
Theme: Zoas/Mushrooms/QT
Lighting: XR 15 Blue G5
Flow: MP10QD / 3 Nero 3s / Mightyjet return / VCA drop downs with RFG
Filtration: 1 IM caddy - Filter Floss, Chemipure Blue, and Marinepure bio circles / IM desktop UV
Control: Neptune Apex with Trident / Fzone ATO
Recent Test results: CA: 435 | ALK: 8.4 | MG: 1325 | No3: 25ppm | point of sale: . 25
Livestock: Pair of clowns, six line wrasse, scopas tang (moving), 4 chromis (moving), Bangai cardinal


Innovative Marine 25 Lagoon (Photo 2)
Start up - June 2022
Theme: Mixed reef / SPS holding
Lighting: G5 XR30 Pro
Flow: 2 MP10QD / 1 Nero 5 / Mightyjet return w/ VCA drop downs with RFG
Filtration: 1 IM Caddy - Filter floss, chemipure blue, bio media / IM UV / Icecap Skimmer
Control: Neptune Apex Pro with Trident / Fzone ATO
Dosing: Ecotech Versa - ESV B Ionic CA|ALK|MG , Acropower
Recent Test Results: CA: 455 | ALK: 7.8 | MG: 1342 | No3: 8.7 | point of sale: .08
Livestock: Flame Angel, Pintail Wrasse ( Tank is going through Velvet, lost some fish, tank is going through a 60 day QT)

Start up - December 2022
Theme: Anemone Cube
Lighting: G6 XR15 Blue
Flow: MP10QD / Mightjet with RFG
Filtration: IM Caddy - Filter Floss, Chemipure Blue, Bio Media
Control: Soon to be Neptune / Fzone ATO
Livestock: Pair of Clownfish

Start up - December 2022
Theme: SPS Dominant Tank
Lighting: 3 G5 XR15 Blue
Flow: 2 MP10 / Mightyjet with RFG
Filtration: IM Caddy - Filter Floss, Chemipure Blue, Bio Media / IM UV / Ice cap Skimmer
Control: Neptune Apex with Trident / Fzone ATO
Dosing: Versa Doser - Aquaforest 123, Acropower
Livestock: Pair of Clowns


As you can see most of my tanks are new and setup the same, but I am excited to go in this direction and document the successes and failures.

IMO Innovative Marine just makes quality tanks. I love the kit that they provide with the lid and upgraded goodies. I like how the tanks are modular and you can do what you want. The dual overflows are nice to keep surface proteins out of the tank. Some dont like the large black silicone but I dont mind it.

I had a WB 25 peninsula / 20 cube / 10 cube and they are great tanks to but I just like the IM brand and quality.

They do make quality tanks (I had a pair of IM Fusion 25 Lagoons myself).
