Calcium was at 500ppm 3 days ago. So I stopped dosing everything. I am doing nothing but feeding. Now… after 3 days of nothing. It has climbed to 525ppm. What the heck is happening???

There is no hobby grade kit that can accurately tell the difference between 500 and 525ppm.

It is simply a measurement error.

Calcium will only fall very slowly.

There is nothing to worry about here with calcium at 500 to 525. Enjoy your reef
