How do I go about reducing Calcium in my aquarium? My Calcium is 500+, many advise me that the number will go down naturally as inhabitants consume it but I'm concerned I may be doing more damage "waiting" for it to happen when its at this level. Besides large water changes, is there a better way to reduce it ?

Water changes. But I wouldn't worry about it. 500-ish isn't harmfully high.
What's your alk?

What is your ALK and Magnesium?
If they are high you could slowly replace some of the salt water with RO/DI.

Figuring out the why: Has your primary reason(s) for keeping a saltwater aquarium changed over time?
