So not my first time using a CARX. But I wanted to reach out and see what others do when it comes to keeping pH steady in a reactor.

I know a lot of people are using a carbon doser which has become popular now when it comes to running a calcium reactor, but for those who do not use it, what do you do? How do you keep it stable? What are some options?

Just wondering, what was the method before the carbon doser became the go to in keeping pH stable in a reactor? I am looking to trail that option or is using a carbon doser the only way to go?

Carbon doser by aquarium plants is just like a dual stage regulator, just easier to tune because of the dial for the bubble counter. Doesnt work any different.

My previous setup was regulated with the Neptune keeping PH at a certain number so was wondering do I really need to use a carbon doser?

You would still need a PH controller with a Carbon doser regulator. Or you can measure the pH manually from the effluent. To answer your question? You don't need to use a carbon doser...a regular 2 stage will suffice.

Thanks, was planning to just reattach everything this time without a carbon doser just a apex to calibrate PH and a CO₂ Regulator Dual‑Stage with Solenoid and Bubble Counter to run the CArx

I run a 2 stage regulator and pull through my reactor with a Kamoer.
No ph probe or controller.
Kamoer adjusts speed through the reactor. The regulator controls the co2 bubbles.
Simple to run.
