[/FONT]If you run a single chamber for a while there will be bubbles of c02 build up on the top of the chamber. Basically, this is wasted c02. With a second chamber, the c02 is forced to pass through more saltwater thus using it up and creating more carbolic acid. The carbolic acid dissolves more media creating a higher calcium rich solution inside the reactor. When you have a dual chamber, you can run your c02 count higher and the effluent drip can also be faster.
