So tested levels two weeks ago, calcium was 400-

180g mixed reef soft and some lps

corals seem ok for now

parameters
Alk 7.2
Nitrate under 5
Phosphate minimal to zero
Calcium-under 100

currently use reef fusion alk and calcium buffer

i was dosing 24ml a day-recomend on bottle 10ml per 65 gallons

just kicked up my dosage to 40ml a day

will the calcium eventually catch up, thoughts-and have an auto doser that is working that doses everyday-usually break dosing up to 2 times a day, only other dosing is vinegar

I would double check the reliability of that test kit before making any changes to your tank. If it was me.

Seems pretty unusual that your calcium could get that low. If it is lower than recommended (around 420ppm), then you should raise it using a Calcium booster product instead of trying to raise it using the Reef Fusion. 2-part Ca/Alk products are meant to maintain and not to adjust up a large amount (takes too much product).

You should also check your Magnesium, Mg, level. If Mg is lower than 1250 ppm, then it is quite impossible to raise Ca and Alk to the high levels that we want in our reef tanks.
