Hello guys,

I think I have a problem, about 3 weeks ago I add a Pygmy wrasse to my tank.
Today I was able to get a pair of Yellow banded wrasses and when I add it to the tank the Pygmy start picking on both of them nothing excessive or super aggressive but the pygmy keep the yellow wrasses at the corner of the tank for sometime.

I find this very weird because is supposed to be a peaceful wrasse and I see some folks having these wrasses together without any issues as well the LFS told me they are compatible.
So after few hours I decided to move the Pygmy to the Q tank set up I have available to avoid any disaster.

The pair of yellow wrasses are getting along together just fine and the small one play with my clowns.

So I just wonder what I should do?

Wait few days and add the pygmy back to the tank to see what happen or just try to sell it or give it away?

Any input or advice will be appreciated it.

TIA

I would try an acclimation box for a few days until the established wrasse get used to the new additions

Put a couple mirrors on the outside of the aquarium that will help. They would rather fight themselves then tank mates

Thank you I will try that.

I never hear of that but I will try that if the acclimation box doesn't work.

Thanks
