Hello all :)
Wondering how is correct PH probe to be calibrated ? Process of calibration is clear , but when dip probe in calibration solution , did you dip probe in PH solution bottle , or pour some PH calibration liquid in a cup and dip probe there (and dispose PH solution) If this is correct , when pour solution we actually fill bottle with ambient air=CO2 , is this affect precision of calibrating fluid ?
Thank you in advance :)

Typically calibration solution comes in single use pouches. I float the pouch in my sump for like 10 minutes to equalize the temp. Then just stick the probe into the pouch. Throw away the pouch after use.

I've been doing some reading on the subject lately.
I found that most people do pour it into something then throw it away if bought in bulk.
It is also best as Homer said, to get it in single use pouches then throw it away after.
I'd like to here more on this from others also.

Hi,You need to keep the pH probe tilted until the air drops out of its end.
In fact, the air bubble should not stick to the probe.
Alternatively, use two buffer solutions of 7 and 10 to calibrate.
good luck !
