Am in the only one seeing this with Jebao SOW models? The Wavemakers are silent out of the box but the glue job on the magnets are way off.

I am just worrying water goes in and rust the magnet causing problem in the future. I am thinking some glue or even silicone to cover it. What’s your though?

This is a repost, it seems like my previous post was gone

I'd just try one and see what happens. If you are really concerned, inform the seller and see what they offer. Or you could put it in a small container with some tank water. If it's a serious issue it should start to rust up pretty quickly.

I had the same thing when I unboxed two OW-25's. I just cleaned them over the weekend and they look the same, no change. Probably just a bad job gluing them.
Other than that, I absolutely love these pumps, super quiet, powerful, and easy to set up.

That’s how mine look. I’m keeping an eye on them and they have been fine.

I’ve had one in my nano for 2 years. Have 2 newer ones in my 60 cube.

I have OW's that looked similar with no issues.. I just pulled an old RW4 that has been running non stop for 5 years, thats right 24x7 for 5 years without cleaning!! For grins before I tossed it I pulled apart motor housing and mag mounts checking for rust/corrosion and there was none.

I guess your ow25 was made after the one I got. Mine was surprisingly high quality and I was like wow but not the sows I just got lol.

Thanks for all that responded. That really give me some sort of assurance and again they are dead silent, for now.
