Can anybody ID this coral for me ?

Some one told me it was a sort of cactus... but I’m not sure, I think a sort of millipora ??

Millepora are sps. This looks kinda soft. Don't know what it is but looks cool.

My 5 cents - from one of the genera Pavona, Hydnophora or Galaxea - keep it isolated - all three genera has nasty, long stinging tentacles. However - I can be wrong.

It looks like a Pavona to me as well, albeit a "hairier" version than my particular species. Maybe a Pavona decussata where I believe mine is a Pavona frondifera.

I agree, a type of hydnophora.

If it has several ridges on each branch when polyps are retracted, it's a Hydnophora. That green color is typical of Hydnophora as well.
