I got it as a gift green mushroom is a ricordia (hairy mushroom ). And the others are green stripe... and red morphs discosoma species. Then green star polyps and Kenya trees. I just contacted the person that gave them to me. What do you guys think about the list?

I don't think I've ever seen a hairy mushroom stand straight up like that. Is it attached to a rock or does it have a hard skeleton? Also, do the polyps go all the way around?

No, the polyps do not go all the way around. They are stuck to a rock, primarily on one side. I plan to frag the coral, it was pretty large colony in the 300 gal reef it came out of.

Hmm. Is there any chance you spin that thing around and take a picture of the back side? Where are the mouths at? Also, I'm assuming that's not just one mushroom, so where does one start and the other one end?

Well i was way off.

lol, I'm still not convinced it's a hairy mushroom yet. A Hydnophora can encrust over a rock like that. Unless I'm missing it, I would like to see some separation between the mushrooms. Maybe rough them up with your fingers a little and then take a picture.
