Interesting.Looks a bit like a calurpa
Of course the algae that appears on the scrubber screen does so all by its self, & I've wondered how much this algae type varies from tank to tank (scrubbed tanks). I'm pretty sure the bro inlaw's scrubber produces the same algae. I'll have to ask Turbo that.That is odd. Although somtimes I have to put stuff like that down or the miracle of life.

I know its near impossible to tell from a photo but I'm sure its not calurpa. I've seen that stuff on video & its a springy mass where as my algae is softer and floppy and pulls apart quite easily.Looks a bit like a calurpa
I'd honestly have to see the growth patter and rooting. A flat pic is tough. Fwiw there are a LOT of different calurpas.
