I got this little bump growing on a rock a couple years ago and it turned into a coral that looked like the first photo below. Then it broke off leaving a little stump, which is now growing and pictured in the first photo.

It's creating a skeleton, and has pretty large polyps, so I'm guessing LPS.

Can anyone identify and specify care requirements? I'm thinking of relocating the smaller one. Also, if you notice in the first photo, the side receiving light is more brightly colored. The difference in color between the two sides is even more pronounced in real life. I'm thinking of maybe moving the smaller one higher in the tank.
After two or three years of growth, the larger of the two still only has the diameter of a beer bottle (pilsner, preferably). It's sitting on the sand after breaking off, and sort of looks like a plate coral. My snails and conches alway crawl over it and get sand all over it, but it seems to surprisingly not mind too much.

are all 3 pictures of the same coral? looks like a fungia coral
No. The second two pictures are of the same coral - the mother, so to speak.

The first picture is the baby that grew after the mother detached.

I'll have to research fungia. Thanks for the response.
