Can Aquavitro Fuel cause a drop in alk over time because of the calcium pantothenate contained in it? I’m no chemist by any stretch of the imagination but saw the word ‘calcium’ in the ingredients which made me wonder. I recently added it to what I regularly dose but at far less than the recommended dosage and I found my alk to be almost 1 dKH less when I tested yesterday to when I last tested it (tested at the same time of the day). My nano tank is over three years old with a Stylo and Montis that grow like weeds and smaller SPS frags that are slowly but steadily growing. TIA

How are you maintaining Calcium and Alkalinity? Fast growing corals and algae can remove lots of dkH in a week.

If anything, pantothenate will very, very slightly raise alk. I’d look for other explanations.
