Hi all! My name is Sarah and I am realitively new to the saltwater aquarium hobby and about a year ago I set up a 20 gallon long aquarium with two snowflake clownfish unfortunately the younger and smaller one passed away leaving the larger female to have the tank to her self and it has been that way for almost 6 months. before the younger one passed away I had a bubble tip anemone and it was doing fine for a few weeks then it started to bleach and die because the aquarium was only a few months cycled and I still hadn’t figured out my evaporation problem and it was causing temperature problems and fluctuations in the water chemistry. I also was using tap water instead of RODI water. Now I have all those problems fixed but I am scared to add the anemone in case it dies again becuase they are very delicate. Can anyone please tell me if they think it is a good idea??? Also I have tried numerous times to add invertebrates to the tank but every single time in a matter of days they die the only invertebrate that has lived a longer life is a cleaner shrimp that had lived for almost 5 months in the tank when sadly one day he passed I am not sure why I just can’t seem to keep anything alive! and I don’t know why!! The only thing that is thriving is my snowflake clownfish she is doing perfect can anywho help me?? And I can assure you that the water chemistry is perfect I test it every week. Thankyou!
