Can i dose ammonium bicarbonate in high pH system?

Hello, i was wondering if i can safely dose ammonium/urea since i use a mix of kalkwasser and natrium hydroxide to increase pH at 8.3-8.6.

Thank you i was worried about toxicity with the ammonium as a higher pH will increase the toxicity

No, you would not be adding enough at once for that to be an issue. :)

Is it safe to dose ammonium bicarbonate with np bacto balance (TM carbon source)? The idea was to give corals more ammonium throughout the day instead of nitrates.
