So recently i changed my lighting schedule after watching BRS lighting guides. My ph has always been at 7.95 to 8.1 for over a year thats where it hovers at. Since changing the lighting schedule my alk consumption is dropping ( im assuming my corals are uptaking more) and my ph is now hovering at 8.15 to 8.3 has anyone else noticed this?

The higher light output is driving the algea in the tank to a greater rate of photosynthesis. Which uses more co2 from the water and releases oxygen. Both of which raise ph.
