Can SeaHorses get Ich?

A buddy of mine just had his nano fish livestock wiped out by Ich, and I was wondering if he could use the same tank, sand and live rock to keep SeaHorses. Does anyone know if they're susceptible to Ich?

just let it sit empty for 4-6weeks and all the ick will be gone. and by empty meen no fish/host for it to live on
