HI all. I've been thinking about adding one more fish to my 75g mixed reef tank, and now that I have a bit of a bubble-algae breakout I am thinking to add a small Foxface, in hope that it will help with this. Even if it doesn't it would be a great looking addition.

I currently have a Spotted Bristletooth tang, couple of clowns, couple of orange-back wrasses, couple of dart-fish, one watchman goby and one lawnmower blenny.

Will the Foxface work with this group? Too many? If yes, is there a specific Foxface that tends to do better with bubble algae?

Thanks is advance!

My foxface eats a lot of algea. It's a magnificent foxface the only thing I see wrong is that some of them get really big so that's something to think about in a 75. Other then that as long as they are fed they will not nip at corals

Most don't nip at coral, but some do regardless of whether they are well fed or not.

75g is on the small side for a full grown foxface.

They can also be pretty skittish and can get you with their venomous spines during maintenance. This has happened to me a few times.

Emerald crabs do an excellent job of eating bubble algae.
