Can someone help me tell the difference between these two hog fish?

The pictures are confusing. I am trying to figure what the difference is between Bodianus sepiacaudus and B. opercularis .

The highly elusive and beautiful Bodianus opercularis surfaces in Hong Kong

Coloration in the tail is the only difference I can see.
